For over 40 years, we have designed and manufactured specialized wheelchair frames, custom seating and positioning systems, hardware, and accessories. Freedom Designs is proud of its many ongoing industry contributions over the years. These include active involvement with seating, positioning, and wheelchair code development for funding agencies, offering the first technical seminars for therapist/dealer training, design, and manufacture of the first folding Tilt-In-Space wheelchair, as well as assuming a leadership role in wheelchair and transport crash testing of chairs.
